At the MCHH in May: MCHH OR the Devil Dog Double in May.MCM +MCHH combined – Semper Fidelis Challenge: Runners can sign up for this two-event challenge where they have to successfully complete the following LIVE events: In order to achieve the Trifecta, runners must run either the MCM or MCM50K live and the other two events can be virtual. MCM also offers to compete in the Trifecta – a unique challenge where runners need to complete all three MCM Weekend distances within the designated timeframe. Additionally, it offers a 1mile Kids Run held the day before the main MCM events. The MCM, held annually in October, offers 3 main events – the 42.2k Marathon, 50K endurance run, and a 10k. Held annually with key calendar events in May (MCHH) and October (MCM), Marine Corps Marathon is an event that doesn’t offer any prize money but instead chooses to celebrate the honor, courage, and commitment of all finishers.Īfter 30000 registrations were sold out within 2 hours 41 minutes in 2012 (for the MCM), a lottery-based system was introduced in 2014 The Marathon also serves as a way to raise money for a wide variety of charities.
